Homegrown Family Foods, LLC and The Mennel Milling Co. have entered into separate agreements to acquire businesses from Summit Hill Foods, which was acquired by the private equity firm EagleTree Capital on Nov. 30.

Homegrown Family Foods, LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of the branded dry mix business of Summit Hill Foods, consisting of Southeastern Mills® Gravy & Bakery Mixes; Shore Lunch® Dry Soup & Breading Mixes; Crockery Gourmet® Seasoning Mixes; Stiver’s Best® Cornmeal, Flour and Cornbread Mixes and Blue Seal® & Rome Beauty® Flour and Cornmeal. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and Summit Hill Foods will continue to produce and market these products through the end of December 2023.

We are very excited to announce that effective September 1st, 2022, Homegrown Family Foods LLC has acquired the following branded business and all associated items from Renwood Mills, LLC. The brands acquired are Southern Biscuit®, Tenda Bake®, Redi Mix®, Nancy Jane®, Midstate Mills® and Renwood Mills®. We will own and distribute all of these brands and respective items effective immediately.
